Is the Dodge Charger being discontinued?

Stellantis is discontinuing the 300 along with the Charger. According to Motorious, Brampton Assembly Plant in Canada- where the Charger, Challenger and 300 are produced- is going through modernization and retooling in order to electrify their fleet. Production on a Charger EV will at least begin in 2025. Currently, The base SXT starts at $32,500 which is lower than many other large sedans in its price range. That's a whopping almost $30,000 more than the base model- and that's just the starting price. The car also comes in an AWD trim which is a first for a Hellcat.

The Charger has been one of Stellantis' premier cars over its history since it was introduced in 1969 as a mid size sedan. Originally available with a 6 or 8 cylinder engine, it now comes with V6,V8 engines, or even all electric ! It has been on the market for over 50 years.
